MINC viewer supports all standard media and file formats
The MINC™ Viewer aids in the expedition of content delivery by allowing the user to accept multiple data streams from a mesh of local “nodes”.
With a large enough mesh, all data streams will originate from local nodes who have previously received the data, as opposed to from the origin server.
The MINC Plus Viewer™ application is a software based publishing tool which allows content providers to both encode and publish rich media prior to streaming.
The application resides on the publishers PC and has the ability to take rich encoded content of all formats and convert it to cacheable http objects which can then be optimally streamed using the I-cellerate appliances as well as the MINC Viewer™ for high availability node sharing.
